Doorly’s Rum
Doorly’s is a brand of the iconic and world award-winning Foursquare distillery, which is located in Barbados. It is one of the best distilleries in the world. All rums are based on fermented molasses and are distilled, matured, blended and bottled on site. Richard Seale, the current owner, is now the fourth generation of rum merchants and changed the course of the family history with his new designs for the Foursquare stills in 1996. The Foursquare distillery is now located on the site of a former 17th century sugar factory. As a family business, Foursquare is free to process and develop its products as it sees fit, which sets it apart from most Caribbean distilleries owned by large spirits conglomerates. Doorly’s 5YO is a blend of column still distillate and pot still distillate. The flavour is powerfully fruity yet with a fresh lightness, accompanied by vanilla and ginger.
DOORLY‘S RUM BLANCO 3YO BARBADOS WHITE
The rum is aged for 3 years in small oak barrels and is refined with charcoal filtration. It is more complex and softer than a typical Blanco. It is ideal for Caribbean rum cocktails.
