Amarula Cream
Amarula is a fascinating blend of the distillate of the marula fruit and fresh cream. In contrast to classic cream liqueurs, which are made with a whisky or rum base, Amarula tastes exceptional and pleasantly light with its exotic fruity flavour. Amarula originates from South Africa. It is based on the distillate of the marula fruit, which grows on the marula tree typical of South Africa. The juice of the marula fruit is first distilled traditionally over large copper kettles and then stored in oak barrels for 2 years. The marula brandy is then mixed with fresh cream to create a unique, exotic Marula Fruit Cream.
The full-bodied flavour of Amarula is irresistibly seductive and tastes great on its own, on ice or in cocktails and hot drinks, as well as being suitable for refining coffee and hot chocolate.
