Torabhaig
Torabhaig Distillery is an authentic reflection of the wild landscape and climate of the Isle of Skye. The distillery is conscious of its responsibility as the second licensed distillery on the Isle of Skye. Located in an abandoned farmhouse with walls of stone from the ruins of Camus Castle, the distillery is deeply rooted in the island. With a team of nine distillers, some from outside the industry, the aim was to create a whisky with an unmistakable peaty taste that expressed the distillery’s distinctive style. The result is a flavour profile known as Well-Tempered Peat, which will help shape the future of Torabhaig.
