Rossbacher
In 1897, A. Wunderlich founded a liqueur factory when he was just 19 years old and created the herbal speciality Rossbacher, which was to write an unparalleled success story.
One of its secrets is certainly its elaborate production. All three known production methods (maceration, percolation, distillation) are used for the careful production. The well-guarded original recipe, which has been in use unchanged since 1897, provides instructions on which herbs are processed using which method. This makes Rossbacher not only one of Austria’s most popular herbal spirits, but also a true Austrian from production to distribution.
The unique taste of Rossbacher stands for a traditional product that also meets modern beverage trends: with intense herbal notes and a subtle sweetness, Rossbacher tastes just as good straight up as it does on the rocks or with a dash of lemon, tonic water or soda.
