Pisang Ambon
Pisang Ambon is an easy to enjoy bright green banana liqueur with a natural banana flavour, refined with herbs and spices. It is based on an original recipe from Indonesia that was brought to the Netherlands by a soldier in 1948. Pisang means banana in Indonesian. The name “Ambon” refers to the island of Ambon – a small island belonging to the Maluku archipelago, where one of the main banana plantations for Pisang Ambon is located.
Pisang Ambon is the base for a variety of exotic cocktails. It has an intense banana flavour which reminds one of candied banana. On the palate, sweet baked banana with balancing pleasant acidity and subtle herbal and spicy notes.

Pisang Fizz
- 5 cl Pisang Amon
- 5 cl tonic water
- 5 cl orange juice
Pour all the ingredients into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Stir gently and garnish with an orange zest.
