Jose Cuervo
There are many things that make Jose Cuervo unique. From centuries-old processes passed down through generations to the rich volcanic soil where the blue agave grows.
For over 250 years, Jose Cuervo has been producing tequila from the largest agave plantations in the world. The journey begins in the fields at the foot of the Tequila Volcano. After seven years of ripening, the agaves are harvested and their seeds, known as piñas, are taken to the La Rojeña distillery. There they are roasted, ground and crushed. The extract obtained is stored in fermentation tanks. Finally, it is distilled and aged to perfection in toasted barrels.
