Glenfiddich
For 20 years, William Grant dreamed of making “the best whisky in the valley”. With the help of his family, he finally achieved his dream. In the summer of 1886, William, along with his seven sons and two daughters, began to realise his lifelong dream. Together they began to build a distillery, brick by brick. After a year of hard work it was ready and William named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for “Valley of the Stags”. William’s passion, determination and pioneering spirit continue to define Glenfiddich to this day.
The world’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky is still produced at the distillery, which is still family-owned and has retained the innovative character of its founder through five generations.
Glenfiddich 12 years
The 12-year ageing in the best American bourbon and Spanish sherry oak barrels gives it its unique, mild flavour, a hint of smoke and a gentle oak note.
Glenfiddich 15 years
The special feature of this Glenfiddich is a special solera oak cask, which marries selected casks (sherry, bourbon and fresh oak) in which the whisky has lain dormant for 15 years or more.
Glenfiddich 18 years
Its harmonious flavour comes from the marriage of whiskies from traditional oak casks with whiskies from casks in which Spanish Oloroso sherry previously matured.
Glenfiddich Experimental Series Fire & Cane
Glenfiddich Fire & Cane ist eine kühne Fusion aus rauchigen und süßen Noten – durch die Vermählung von getorftem Whisky und Malts, die in Bourbonfässern gereift und anschließend in Rumfässern veredelt wurden.
Glenfiddich Experimental Series Project XX
Project XX is the result of a collaboration between 20 whisky experts and Glenfiddich’s Malt Master Brian Kinsmann. A surprising, extraordinary whisky consisting of 20 very special single malts.
Glenfiddich Gran Reserva 21 years
For this high-quality whisky from Glenfiddich, casks of 21-year-old whisky were selected, which were then allowed to rest briefly in casks in which Cuban rum had previously matured.
Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 years
This exclusive bottling is a unique blend of Scottish flavours and French wine culture combined in a stylistically innovative whisky. Matured in rare French cuvée oak casks, it has an elegant finish that gives it a flavour of true elegance.
Glenfiddich Grande Couronne 26 years
Grande Couronne matured for 26 years in American and European oak barrels. It received its crowning glory in the finish – up to two years in carefully selected French cognac barrels.
Glenfiddich Time Series 30 years
Despite a considerable ageing period of 30 years, this Glenfiddich is the youngest whisky in the Time Series. It has rested in European and American oak casks and now seems to float through time.
Glenfiddich Time Series 40 years
This whisky has a maturation period of 40 years, with some even older drops finding their way into the bottle. At Remnant-Vatting, older whiskies are also blended, a process that only Glenfiddich does.
Glenfiddich Time Series 50 years
Glenfiddich 50 Years is not just another rare whisky, but an extraordinary statement. Fifty years not experienced chronologically, but all at once. 3 Malt Masters have guarded this treasure.
