Drambuie
The exquisite composition of fine malt whiskies, herbs, spices and Scottish heather honey has been secret and unchanged since 1745. After the failed attempt to reclaim the Scottish throne from the English in 1745, Prince Charles Edward Stuart fled to France. Before doing so, he gave his secret recipe to the MacKinnon family. The elixir quickly became known as Dram Buidheach – the drink that makes you happy.
Drambuie is an extraordinary blend of various matured Scotch whiskies, heather honey, spices and herbs. A perfect base for cocktails, it is also a real treat on its own or on ice.
