Aerstone
In keeping with the innovative philosophy of the founder of the whisky dynasty William Grant & Sons, the numerous award-winning whisky portfolio has been expanded. Aerstone is one of the newer single malt whisky brands at William Grant & Sons and was created in two versions by Malt Master Brian Kinsman. Both versions – Land Cask & Sea Cask – are distilled in the Lowlands, but stored in different locations, which brings out the respective character of the whisky. Both versions are matured for 10 years before being bottled.

Aerstone Land Cask
Aerstone Land Cask is produced using Highland peat. It then rests for 10 years in warehouses further inland to preserve its smoky flavour.
Aerstone Sea Cask
After being distilled in the Lowlands, Aerstone Sea Cask is brought to the Ayrshire coast. There, where it is exposed to the fresh sea air, it is given its characteristics during the 10-year maturation period and acquires a soft, maritime profile.
